Bigfoot (because I can't spell the proper name!!)

So last year we had a couple of guys who thought they could fool the world by stuffing a gorilla suit in a freezer and claiming they captured bigfoot - and sadder still some moron apparently happily spent $500,000 to purchase it (wonder if I can get him to buy the Brooklyn bridge from me??). 

Aside from that incident, over the years there have been reported sightings all througout the US and Canada (and not all of them involved alcohol and smoking funny things hehe) so... thoughts?  Theories?  Long-lost species?
